We are finally having our wedding!

Four bizarre years after our original wedding date, we are finally doing this thing! Yes we are already legally married, but we want to pretend that never happened and do it up right with all of you! We were first introduced by our dear friend, Heather, on May 16, 2010. Brian was DJing a Dio tribute set when we first locked eyes- Taylor likey! Shortly after that night, we rocked out to Joan Jett together with some friends at the Lane County Fair, and after a couple failed attempts at meeting up in Portland, we set our first real date. On September 2nd, 2010, we went to the First Thursday Art Walk in Portland and immediately couldn't get enough of each other- there was a comforting familiarity between us and we uncovered some similarities from our pasts that were too unusual to ignore... like how we lived on the same floor of the same apartment building prior to meeting! Brian was the first to use the L-word on Christmas Day of 2010, and after almost ten years, four homes, two beautiful cats, some tragic losses, and countless harrowing adventures, he proclaimed his love for Taylor to all of New York City on June 3rd, 2019 by finally popping the question! After rescheduling our original 2020 wedding date twice due to Covid, we tied the knot at the courthouse and ate pizza in a park with a few local friends. That was NOT our wedding, but simply our cute little nuptials -- this celebration will be what we originally had in mind -- plus a Zuzu! Together we have weathered a global pandemic, birthed a perfect angel baby, and managed to help each other grow into better humans through it all. We have exciting plans for our little family's future and we could not be more thrilled to share this wonderful milestone with all of you!
