Where are all of the events?

Answer

4575 Slam Gate Rd, Crozet, VA The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at Mount Fair Vineyard, not to be confused with Montfair Farm & Resort across the street. If using GPS, we suggest entering the address listed rather than the venue name as it may take you further up the road.

What should I wear?

Answer

This will be a black-tie optional event! We ask that men wear a nice suit or tuxedo and women wear a cocktail or full length dress. Don't worry about being overdressed, feel free to show your personality as long as you'll be comfortable on the dance floor! We will be outside for the evening, so please account for potentially soft ground or chilly conditions when choosing your shoes and outerwear. We do not have specific colors we are asking guests to wear, though we ask that you do not wear white for obvious reasons!

While we love your children, this event will be adults only. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I bring a date?

Due to capacity, we will only be able to accommodate those designated on your save the date and invitation!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Due to the distance from the venue to hotels in Charlottesville, we will not be providing shuttling services to or from the venue. We strongly suggest coordinating prior to the event as there is very little reception at Mount Fair Vineyard, though there is WiFi that can be used to call an Uber or Lyft if necessary. The roads to the venue are a bit windy and we want you all to make it back to your hotel or lodging, so please arrange for a safe ride home if you will be drinking!

What is the food and bar situation?

Answer

We will have plenty of food for you, don't worry! We will be having a buffet dinner and an open bar with non-alcoholic options, beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. Our bartenders will not accept tips during the reception, but if you would like to show your appreciation to them, any tips can be given to the father of the bride and we will make sure they get to them!
