We first met back in 2017 through mutual friends. Life was busy, timing wasn’t quite right, and we were both on different paths—not yet in a place to settle down. We went our separate ways, not knowing that fate had other plans. Fast forward to 2022, we reconnected—this time over text. What started as casual messages turned into months of late-night conversations, laughs, and nearly a handful of almost-dates that always seemed to get postponed. But we never lost interest, and when we finally met in person again in February 2023, everything just clicked. From that day on, we never left each other's side.
