How We Met

First comes school, then comes marriage.

We met on the first day of college classes, or so we thought. We had the same major and were placed in the same learning community. We quickly became good friends and eventually ended up on the same intramural soccer team. While spending all this time together we found out that we had actually met each other a few years prior during an indoor soccer game. We continued to grow our friendship. It wasn't until second semester of college that we went our first date. We decided to drive two hours to the Natural Bridge and go for a hike. Thankfully it went well and the rest is history!

The Proposal

Distance didn't stop us

If you didn't know Brandon and I were long distance for almost two years of our relationship. Most recently, my job sent me to Boston for a year. During that time, Brandon started his job at GE and had traveled to Tennessee a few times for work. I thought it would be fun to meet him there and make a weekend out of it. The day I was supposed to leave all my flights were cancelled. It had been a few months since I had last seen Brandon, so of course I was hysterical that I was going to miss the weekend with him. Then super mom came to the rescue! She somehow got me onto a flight to Nashville. After the longest and most emotional travel day of my life I finally saw Brandon's face and it was all worth it. The next morning, I woke up in the hotel and there he was, ring in hand asking me to marry him! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you soon!
