Ben and I met in 2015, two months into my freshman year of college. I was going to a party with some of my sorority sisters, one of which was dating (and is now married to) one of Ben's roommates. We were all hanging out before the party, and when Ben walked into the living room, I looked at my best friend Meredith and asked, "Who is THAT?!" I had a major crush right off the bat. Ben was our DD that night, and the first thing we connected over was how we are both huge Patriots fans, and though that conversation is a tad fuzzy for me, I felt something I truly never had before. A month later, my sorority was having its semi-formal and I didn't have a date. Chelsey (my friend now married to Ben's college roommate) suggested I ask Ben. From then on, Ben and I hung out off and on all throughout my college years. Despite many ups and many downs, and a whole lot of drama, I knew from my freshman year I was going to marry him someday, and all my friends and family can attest to that.... there was no changing my mind. And while it took us a few years to get on the same page at the same time, there is nothing that I would change about our story as it led us to where we are right now. In November of 2019 Ben and I got back together, when Ben met my golden doodle Noodle for the first time, Noodle jumped all over Ben, cried, and excited tinkled on him. Simply put, Noodle fell in love. From that moment on Noodle became our dog, and I was replaced as his favorite. Since then, we have added our second golden doodle, Butter, and she completes our little family.... For now, until we become a family of 5 with the arrival of our baby girl in December! Ben has been my best friend, biggest supporter, and the person I can count on above all else since I was 18, and I know he will be that for me forever.
