Austin and Taylor met in 2014 after Austin got Taylor's number and asked her to play on their indoor soccer team at Sports Academy in Glen Carbon (We still play indoor soccer together). Taylor played one session until she returned to college in Jacksonville. Taylor enjoyed her time at school and it wasn't until January 6, 2016 that Austin and Taylor started dating while Taylor was at Illinois College and Austin was at SIUE.

How We Met

In March 2021,  Taylor and Austin went with Austin's family to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The trip was planned for Austin's Dad's 50th birthday. On Friday night, the family went to get pictures on the beach and while Taylor and Austin were getting a picture, Austin got on one knee. The proposal was extra special because Taylor's parents knew about the proposal and were able to watch on FaceTime.
