Question

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue. Wedding Shuttle will be provided for guests starting at 3:55pm. The charter bus will be picking up by the Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District Hotel (321 W Bay St, Savannah), PLEASE be advised that the charter bus WILL park a block away and will be parked near Franklin Square. Near where West Bay Ln. and Montgomery St. cross/intersect (behind the Double Tree and Hilton Garden Inn Hotels and in front of Franklin Square), if needed please refer to your phone map for the location on Franklin Square. The motor coach is white/black/blue and reads “Kelly Tours” along the sides. (See photo above for location map, highlighted in yellow is where the bus will be parking or parking near, please use this general area when heading to the bus). The bus will leave at 4:10pm The bus will be parked close to the corner of the Double Tree and Hilton Garden Inn hotels on Montgomery St., near Franklin square at 3:55pm and will leave at 4:10pm. Please make sure to be on time!! We will also have this shuttle take guests back to the hotel from the wedding venue. We will have two shuttle times to leave the reception, one at 9:00pm and the last one at 10:30pm. Please make sure to be on time for desired departure time! What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. But we want you to feel comfortable in the lowcountry heat! Please be mindful of the weather, Savannah and Bluffton tend to run hot and humid in July. (FYI, wedding ceremony and reception will be held indoors!)

What is the venue's address?

Answer

Address to our venue, Hewitt Oaks: 205 Stillwell Road, Bluffton, South Carolina 29910 *All wedding events will be held on site at Hewitt Oaks: the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.*

What time should guests arrive if the ceremony starts at 5PM?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes early to our ceremony site, 4:30PM. We want to make sure to start promptly at 5PM, and that everyone has a good seat! Also, please keep in mind that our ceremony is unplugged (we ask to please keep phones away until our ceremony has concluded). Thanks!

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We would like to have an unplugged ceremony. We ask for everyone to please keep phones away during our ceremony so that our photographer can perfectly capture our special moment without distractions. We promise to share these photos once given to us by our photographer.

Is there a recommended/designated hotel?

Answer

Yes! We will have several designated room blocks from 3 hotels, Marriott & Hilton. Please refer to the Travel & Accommodations page for more details and information.

Are kids invited?

We love your kids, we really do, but unless specified on your invitation we would like our wedding to be your night off!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Thanks for your understanding!
