When should I RSVP by?

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be adults-only, with attendees over 21. We love your kids and apologize for any inconvenience. Hopefully, you can take this opportunity to relax and celebrate. Thank you for your understanding.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please wear bright colors to make a statement and express your unique style!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have nominated the Hilton Garden Inn, with approximately 20 rooms reserved for guests. This is located in the heart of downtown, 0.5 miles from the venue, which is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk. We encourage you to visit the “Travel” page and follow the booking link to secure your room. Please note that our hotel requires a two-night stay. Hopefully, this is an excuse for a full weekend trip!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel and the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no designated transportation to and from the hotel and the venue. However, we have carefully chosen the Hilton Garden Inn, which is located 0.5 miles from the venue. This is a 4 minute drive or 10 minute walk each way.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you are staying at our designated hotel, The Hilton Garden Inn, we recommend parking there and walking or Ubering to the venue. Parking options near our venue include the following. Historic Third Ward Parking Garage 3 minute walk to the venue Entrance 1: 225 E Chicago St Entrance 2: 212 N Milwaukee St Milwaukee, WI 53202 Catalano Square Parking Lot 4 minute walk to the venue 310 E Erie St Milwaukee, WI 53202 Third Ward Lot 8 minute walk to the venue 330 N Broadway Milwaukee, WI 53202 In the Third Ward, street parking is free after 6pm Monday-Friday, free on Saturday (time limits apply), and free all day Sunday.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:00pm and 4:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

4:00-4:30pm: Guest arrival 4:30-5:00pm: Ceremony 5:00-6:00pm: Cocktail Hour 6:00-6:15pm: Guests Take Their Seats 6:15-6:30pm: Grand Entrance, Welcome Toast 6:30-8:00pm: Dinner, Toasts 8:00-8:30pm: First Dances 8:30-11:45pm: Party!

As a guest, is there anything I can bring?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside on the river, weather permitting. We recommend bringing sunglasses, hand fans, and sunscreen to ensure your comfort during the ceremony. The reception will be indoor/outdoor, so we recommend bringing a shall or jacket as well.

What is the bar type for the event?

Answer

Anyone who knows us knows we enjoy a cocktail… or two. We are pleased to offer an open bar to all guests. Drinks will be complimentary for the duration of the event. We kindly request that you bring cash and/or credit card for tipping, as well as any activities after the event.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Upon RSVP’ing, you will be prompted to share any food allergies. Dinner will be buffet style and we will ensure that your food allergies are accommodated.

Can I take photos during the event? Is it okay to post them on social media?

Answer

Of course! We are thrilled to have you attend our celebration and encourage you to share your favorite moments on social media. At the event, we will also provide a QR code for you to share the photos you take directly with us. Thank you for helping us capture this special day!
