Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Lexie Dyer and Taylor Coleman
Almost the whole crew! The Bachelor/Bachelorette party in Cabo was a blast. The missing few were busy welcoming babies, preparing to welcome babies, or raising babies. But they were with us in spirit!

Sammie Dyer

Matron of Honor

When we were younger, I used to tell people the way we were born describes us each perfectly. Sam was born on her due date at 9am sharp, whereas I was born 2 weeks late at 1pm. But trust me — Cabo showed she’s not all spreadsheets and strict routines anymore. She’s got a wild side and I'm definitely taking some of the credit. The rest goes to her husband, Jake. She was the first person to trust me to officiate a wedding, my built in best friend for life, and my expert on all things Taylor Swift. I cant wait for her to stand by my side.

Kelsey Love

Matron of Honor

Kelsey and I met in calculus class our first semester of college thanks to the kid that sat in front of us. I won't spoil the story because I'm sure you'll hear it in a speech, but Kelsey and I have walked side by side through so many seasons of life. From party girls in college, to realizing pre-med was NOT it, to regifting the same "Keep Calm, I'm a Nurse" photo frame multiple times as our career goals changed; Kelsey has truly seen every version of me. She's seen the country girl, the party girl, the burnt-out nursing student, and the grad-school-zombie. She’s loved me through all of it. She married the third musketeer in our little trio of besties, and became a mom. Even when I wasn’t around as much as I wanted to be, she never made me feel like I lost my place. With Kelsey, there’s no ‘catching up,’ just continuing.

Andie Buffington

Bridesmaid

We met in the depths of Haworth Hall as anatomy lab teaching assistants and became best friends practically overnight — literally two weeks in and people assumed we’d known each other for years. Though it is surprising we hadn't, because we lived one town apart and our moms worked together for the majority of our lives. Since then we’ve done everything from sharing homes to sharing sunrises after nights that got… extended. Between all of the Blue House memories, Phoenix adventures, laughter that never ends — Andie is one of the purest joys of my life. Though we have both calmed down significantly, I know Andie is always my Yes Girl no matter how old we get.

Monica Knese

Bridesmaid

She’s our ‘Momica’ — organized, responsible, dependable. But don't let her fool you, she's the quiet legend behind some of the wildest stories to come out of my 20s. We lived together through nursing school and in Blue House, making her my longest running roommate next to my sister. She’s been beside me for some of my most life-defining moments, and I was honored to do the same for her when I officiated her wedding last year. She's my beer loving, noodle slinging, country music screaming bestie and I am so grateful to have her as part of my big day.

Laine Hamilton

Bridesmaid

I met Laine through Andie, and she's the friend who went from acquaintance to permanent fixture in my life without me even noticing the transition. She is the final roommate from the Blue House era, where she bravely battled the mice with Rollo's as bait (unintentionally, RIP pink sweater). Laine is my teacher-bestie who keeps me young, my pop-culture encyclopedia, and a literal ray of sunshine. Which is fitting, since her favorite color is yellow. Next year I get to travel to Italy to watch her become Mrs. Letteiri and I couldn't be more excited.

Regan Hayhow

Bridesmaid

I became friends with Regan in nursing school despite her being a Wildcat (Rock Chalk forever). She became a nursing school bestie, and then became my CRNA-school soulmate - the friend who kept me sane, grounded, and laughing when I desperately needed it. Her and Taylor are the biggest reasons I even made it through. She gave me the best strategy for survival: every time you want to quit, just google what car you want to buy and calculate how long it would take to make that much as a nurse and as a CRNA. 100% success rate. Regan is the friend who wouldn't hesitate to throw hands for you, who always brings the hype, and who never says no to a stage, a game, or a twerking contest. And she always comes to WIN. Last year, I got to marry her and Tanner on a study break on their 10-year anniversary, and then watch them celebrate again in Greece. I love that now she’ll be here cheering for me.

Ragan Selby

Bridesmaid

I’ve loved Ragan since we met in nursing school. She is hysterical, vibrant, intelligent, and so naturally gorgeous it should be illegal. She’s also the same person who, instead of paying attention in lecture, was deep-diving the Barbie website for God knows what reason. We worked our first nursing unit together (S/O to the other CA5 friends), survived years on the Neuro ICU, and most importantly she gifted me my all-time favorite book series (From Blood & Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout, if you're curious). She may have left me for South Dakota (rude), but the friendship and the library will always remain.

Sarah Jeffries

Bridesmaid

I met Sarah in nursing school, and she quickly became my mermaid sister — the one who pulled me into the world of EDM and festivals, which is now a core part of my soul. We took a travel nursing gig and moved to Phoenix together (with Andie & Shelby), and lived in a million-dollar house where she paid for the master like the boujee gal she is — while I zip-tied two twin beds together to create the infamous Megabed. As an ER nurse she’s cared for me in moments of crisis, namely the infamous New Year’s nail disaster. Over the years, she went from THE party girl to holistic fitness goddess, but some things never change; if you need an IV after a wild night, she’ll take care of you just like she always has.

Tess Anderson

Officiant

I didn't truly get to know Tess until after college, when I moved into Laine’s old room in the apartment they shared and immediately became victim to Capone (her cat). I still have teeth marks in my Apple Pencil from his ‘studying encouragement.’ Every time Tess left the apartment, she’d yell, ‘Capone, you’re in charge!’ — while I was sitting right there, clearly not considered leadership material. I also started seeing Taylor while living there, but I'll have to let her tell that tale. Tess loves a good book, is obsessed with all things mob-related (hence, Capone), and is now engaged herself — which means I cannot WAIT to watch her enter her bride era. Mostly because she roasted me for becoming wedding-obsessed, and I’ve been ready to watch her become exactly the same. It happens to the best of us ;)
