On June 23rd 2022, Taylor had decided to give up dating apps and start focusing on herself. Before she deleted Hinge, she followed her gut feeling and looked through the list of messages. When Adam’s profile came up Taylor thought “What a sweet handsome guy” and then thought “Ok Fine! One more time with this guy!”. She swiped right and they hit it off. They talked about their sweet pups, their favorite foods, and their passions. Adam rekindled Taylor’s passion for Biltmore by asking a lot of questions. Taylor knew she needed to meet him. Adam asked her out for dinner on Saturday night. Taylor ignored her first date rules which were to only meet for coffee or ice cream and to only dress casual; She went with a floral dress. On June 26th they met for the first time at Bakersville restaurant and continued to hit it off over tacos and margaritas. They continued to go on a date every week since. Adam knew he wanted to propose to Taylor at her happy place, Biltmore Estate. He managed to keep everything in secret for several stressful months. He even messaged Taylor’s close friends for help in finding the perfect “Taylor” ring. Adam asked his close friends, Zach and Allie to message Taylor, asking her to take them on a tour of Biltmore so Taylor would not be suspicious. Adam sent detailed instructions and a map to Zach/Allie to ensure that the proposal would go smoothly. On the car ride to Biltmore, Taylor was so busy studying for the ARE (Architectural License) exam that she was oblivious to what was going on. After we passed the statue of Diana overlooking the Biltmore Estate, Allie asked us to take pictures of her and Zach in front of the Biltmore per Adam’s instructions. When it was Taylor and Adam’s Turn to take pictures, Adam kneeled down and asked Taylor “Will you marry me?” Taylor was shocked and overwhelmed with pure joy. She said yes to forever and ever with Adam.
