One spring day in April 2022, Drummond Schools was hosting Ag Day where presenters are brought in and students get to hear from local advocates and workers in agriculture. It just so happened that Taylor was in Drummond presenting for RDO (who he worked for at the time). Sabrina had just had shoulder surgery and was in the thick of it with getting her Master's degree while also teaching K-12 Special Education in Drummond. She had been asked to chaperone the junior high students that day, otherwise she probably would have been doing the never-ending paperwork! As the junior high students made it to the tractor exhibit that Taylor was hosting, Sabrina and Taylor started talking about a problem tractor that they had on Sabrina's family ranch. Turns out, Taylor had worked on that tractor. He had been to the ranch and had met most of her family while working on said tractor. After learning this, Sabrina was a little embarrassed. Throughout the rest of Ag Day, as other teachers came and went through the exhibit, they would come up to Sabrina and mention that there was a cute guy by the tractor, to which she would tell them she wasn't interested. After school that day, Sabrina and a co-worker stopped by the Canyon Bar for a drink before heading home, and guess who was there... Of course, Taylor was! But, since Sabrina is so stubborn she still avoided him and did not speak to him while at the bar that afternoon. It wasn't until the end of August that they ran into each other again at the Copper Queen. This time, Sabrina was more receptive to conversation. Later that weekend was Labor Day and they were able to hang out some more. A few weeks later Taylor came to watch Sabrina coach volleyball and they started dating shortly after that. #ScheerdtheDeal
