Muir Woods National Monument
Our favorite hiking spot with beautiful trails and trees. Great for a long hike, or even just a flat walk around the entrance and lower area. Parking is only sold in advance, so make sure if you are driving there to book parking in advance.
Lands End Lookout
Great hiking trail with beautiful views of the bay, the bridge and the ocean. Start at the Lincoln Park steps for a beautiful view of the city skyline. Not looking for a long hike? Head to the end to see the Sutro Bath ruins and walk the cliffs of Lands End.
Golden Gate Park

Fish.
Fresh and delicious sustainable seafood! Our favorite dish is the oak grilled trout on pasta.

This is our go-to date night spot. The taquitos dorados are muy delicioso! They also have a location in San Francisco.
Hook Fish Co. at Proof Lab Beer Garden
Smaller menu, but you know where your fish is coming from (down to the boat name and how the fish was caught). Great beer selection.
Street Taco
If you find yourself in the Haight-Ashbury area stop in for some tacos!

Our go-to Chinese restaurant we love to share with anyone visiting. You have to try the dry sautéed string beans and the dry fried chicken wings.

Located in Ghirardelli Square, it is a great spot to try local beer.
Buena Vista Winery
We are members at this winery and always find new wines we love. Great place to take a tour if you have time!

Great place for a casual tasting. Good food options as well.
