Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our evening wedding is formal attire. For gentlemen, a suit or formal dinner jacket with dress trousers is perfect, while ladies are invited to wear long gowns or midi dresses. Please no jeans or denim, and avoid shades of white.

What is the plan for the day?

Answer

We'll be hosting a short ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the venue. The ceremony will take place promptly at 6:30PM. Please take your seats no later than 6:15PM so we can get the show on the road!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? What can I expect weather-wise?

Answer

Change of plans! Our ceremony is now being held indoors. The cocktail hour will be held in an indoor/outdoor space, and we’ll be back inside for the reception. DC in early October is typically still warm, think low to mid 70s.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 1st. If you do not RSVP by the given date, we will assume you are unable to attend.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, of course! We ask that you please note any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

We strongly, strongly recommend using a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft to get to and from our wedding if you are not staying at the Yours Truly Hotel. There are multiple parking garages near the venue if needed. If you are a hotel guest, valet parking can be added to your room for a fee.
