FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! The bride doesn't believe in being overdressed so, ladies, semiformal or cocktail attire is appreciated (think dresses, jumpsuits, skirts or dress slacks). The wedding is outside, so choose your footwear accordingly. In true Roy fashion, cowboy attire is welcomed for the guys. Sport coats are also a great addition. It can get chilly at night, so don't forget a coat!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space, we are only able to accommodate plus ones explicitly mentioned on your invitation. Please RSVP with only the guests listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

They are absolutely welcome to celebrate with us! Please note, though, that there will be an open bar, as well as a pond at the venue. If they're joining us, please RSVP for them as well.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 1, 2025. You can either mail back the RSVP card that is included with your invitation, OR RSVP here on our website under the RSVP tab.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed dearly! Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where should I fly into?

Answer

If you are joining us from out of state, welcome to California! We recommend flying into San Jose or Monterey.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please visit the "Travel" tab for more information and hotel links. Our venue also allows guests to camp out, so you are also welcome to bring your living quarters (please note that there is limited parking).

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that you keep your phones away and silenced, BUT we understand being excited. If you do choose to take pictures, please keep our photographer in mind. She is wonderful and will be diligently capturing the best moments for all to enjoy. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away and don't forget to share with us!
