The Proposal and other adventures
Being that we had a long distance relationship, it seemed only fitting that we travel long distances around the world together as well.
Tayfun proposed in June 2025 on a trip to Istanbul. He surprised me with a private cruise on the Bosphorus and among the islands around Istanbul. As we approached the iconic Maiden Tower, he recommended we view it from the bow. As we sat together admiring it, he took a knee and asked me to be his wife.
