Although we love your little ones, we respectfully request that this is an adults-only wedding. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night!
We're keeping things small and intimate, so we are only able to inlude the specific people formally listed on your wedding invitation and site to RSVP. We are not extending "plus ones" so unless you see someone else's name listed, please plan to come solo. We’re so excited to celebrate with the people closest to us!
We’re saying “I do” with toes in the sand and sun on our backs. Don’t worry—we’ll make sure the drinks are cold and the love is worth the humidity. After that, we’ll head inside the pier house for the reception, where you can enjoy the AC, comfy chairs, and a dance floor that’s not made of sand. Best of both worlds!
Only if you plan to sit at the imaginary table next to our imaginary budget for surprise guests, then sure! PLEASE don't do this, just RSVP before July 25th. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume you're busy doing something way less fun and we’ll sadly cross you off the list.
The ceremony starts at 4:30 PM sharp. Not “island time,” not “fashionably late”—actual 4:30. We love you, but if you roll up at 4:31, you'll end up watching from the dunes. Come early, grab a seat, and enjoy the view!
Yes! It’ll pick you up from your hotel or nearby rental—as long as it’s actually nearby (if you're posted up in a different zip code, you're on your own, beach bum). We’ll send out the exact pickup schedule as we get closer—just be on time and don’t make the trolley do laps like it’s your personal Uber.
If you choose not to use our (expensive btw) trolley, you are able to park at the Hilton Garden Inn free of charge. Just make sure to get a guest pass from the front desk before the party starts! We do not want a towing incident to ruin your night. You are also able to leave your car overnight at the Hilton as long as you pick it up in the morning.
We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us. The Outer Banks offers many hotels and AirBnBs to choose from. Due to high prices of lodging and our event taking place over labor day weekend, we recommend that you book ASAP as many visitors make plans for summer vacation far in advance. Please see our "Where to Stay" tab for more details.
We’re going unplugged for the “I do’s.” After that? Snap away. Just promise to tag us in our best angles.
Nope! We’ll likely be on the dance floor, mid-toast, or emotionally overwhelmed (in a good way). If you have to slip out early, know that we love you and are so grateful you came. Consider this your official permission to ghost us—just this once.
Nope—no deep roots, no family beach house, no childhood summers spent here. We just love the beach and the idea of getting married somewhere that felt like a vacation for everyone (including us). Plus it beats Northern Virginia traffic jams that make you question your life choices, endless construction cones, and the sea of office parks and chain coffee shops. Kitty Hawk’s salty ocean breeze, wide-open beaches, and zero rush hour are way more our vibe. Where else can you say I do and immediately go barefoot?

We are still finalizing the details, please check back at a later date.
