Their first date—though still a topic of playful debate—was anything but smooth. Jacob, unfamiliar with the city, struggled to find parking, while Taylor, punctual as ever, waited for over an hour. Frustrated, she finally decided to leave and even went as far as blocking Jacob. But Jacob wasn’t ready to give up. Determined to make things right, he pulled off a grand romantic gesture—sending dozens and dozens of roses to Taylor’s home, accompanied by a heartfelt apology letter. His persistence paid off. Taylor couldn’t resist Jacob’s charisma, charm, and deep love for God. In turn, Jacob was captivated by Taylor’s passion, confidence, and radiant spirit. As they watched the city lights and soaked in the moment, Jacob had something even more special in store. As the evening came to an end, he took Taylor on a quiet stroll, reminiscing on their journey together. Channeling his favorite scene from Jumping the Broom, he suddenly stopped, got down on one knee, and asked Taylor to spend forever with him. And, of course—because we are all here today—she said YES!
