We're so happy you're here!

We had a ton of mutual friends in college, but never really got to know each other until second semester of freshman year. All those mutual friends planned a big beach hangout, however, slowly but surely, everybody dropped out one by one, until it was just the two of us left. After we thought the beach day was cancelled, we ran into each other in the caf on campus, and decided we both still wanted to go, so we did! (I [Taylor] would not normally go hang out at the beach with some dude I hardly knew...but I sure am glad that I did that time.) We hopped in my car and bonded over the new Jack Johnson album that I had playing (good sign #1), sat on the shore and talked for a long time. We ended up going to the beach once a week for the next 6 weeks and getting to know each other, and finally, after some patience and encouragement on my part, Edward finally asked me out on a date! After just 3 dates, Edward asked me to be his girlfriend! And here we are, 5 years and a ton of shared life experiences later, we cannot wait to be married and see what else the Lord has in store for us! We are stoked and ready for this next step, and thankful that you have played a part of it!
