About 10 years ago, we met through a mutual friend. Taylor thought that Dominick was very handsome and interesting upon first meeting, but Dominick was not in a position to reciprocate those feelings (not that Taylor ever declared those feelings, because... well have you met her). Fast forward 2 years on October 19, 2014. Taylor stumbled upon Dominick's Facebook page and remembered meeting him and wondered how he was and what he was doing these days. She left his page and moved on with her day; attending a Sports Awards Banquet and a Girl Scouts Meeting. Later in the day, Dominick requested to be Taylor's friend on Facebook, and she panicked, thinking he had friended him by accident! A few hours passed and Dominick messaged Taylor while she was at her Girl Scout Meeting; she messaged back (sorry Ms. Janice, Taylor should have been paying attention, but, it proves that, that moment spent on her phone was truly important lol). Close friends at the time were actually responsible for reconnecting us, and to them, we are eternally grateful. Dominick did not recognize who Taylor was at first (awkward phase was OVER), but he soon did and we reminisced about many great memories. We talked nonstop the next few days, and met in person with our mutual friends on October 26, 2014 at Taylor's house. There were of course a multitude of snacks (curtesy of Tyra) and games to play, and many laughs to share. That night will always be important to us, because it is where our story officially began. God knew that we both would need a person to rely on in our lives and truly guided us to the most perfect person for each of us. We have shared many memories over our 8 years together, and look forward to a lifetime more. Please feel free to view some of our memories in the gallery portion of our website. We are so happy that you are here to join us and we cherish your part of our journey!
After many hints and obvious clues, Tayor knew that Dominick would be proposing soon. He was planning something for our 7th anniversary, which, made Taylor very suspicious. And she was SO RIGHT!! But, because Taylor figured it out, Dominick needed to throw Taylor off, which he kind of did, but not really! Diane (Dominick's mom), invited Taylor to go pumpkin picking with a group of girls at Duffield's in Washington Township. Taylor, loving anything and everything fall, agreed of course. But part of her wondered if there was something else going on (spoiler alert, there was). October 8, 2021, was a Friday teacher's inservice for Taylor, so, she did not look her best; dressing down a bit, wearing glasses, and sporting tiredness from staying up late working the night before. It was also not the best time of the month for her. Because of all the clues, Dominick and Taylor were talking about getting engaged quite frequently. In fact, on the way to Dominick's house that Day, Taylor told Dominick that she would be mad if it happened today, because she wanted her nails to look better haha!! When Taylor got to Dominick's house, he was in a baseball hat and ball shorts, totally not ready for a proposal. The girls left for Duffield's, picked up some friends, and got gas on the way. We parked, bought our tickets for the corn maze, and walked on inside for some fall fun. Little did Taylor know, that when she left Dominick's house, he ran upstairs and got dressed in handsome clothes! Then he left his phone at home (we share locations in case a seizure occurs), and drove to Duffield's. He arrived first and hid his car. When Taylor entered the corn maze, Dominick was already at the end of the maze ready for action. As soon as the girls started the maze, the workers, shut the corn maze down, so there could be a private proposal. Taylor reached the end and there was Dominick, ready to ask her a question, that would change EVERYTHING!! Of course she said YES!
