Vibes: James Bond. Glamor. Suits and champagne. Black and white. Formal, all-black (white button downs ok), black tie optional. Examples: black suit with white or black button-down, black slacks with a white shirt, black dress of any length. The ceremony will be held outside, so you may want to bring a light coat or wrap. No jeans, flip-flops or baseball hats. No white dresses. Check out our inspo board: https://pin.it/4QNID7C
Children of immediate family only, please.
The Palace of Fine Arts is a public park and so it will be open all day — feel free to go early, take photos and walk around. The ceremony starts promptly at 5pm. Recommended arrival time is 4:40/4:45pm.
The ceremony will be held outside under the Rotunda at Palace of Fine Arts. It is a public park, but the Rotunda will be closed off and private for the wedding. We will have security. We will also have Taylor's cousins directing you towards the Rotunda. You'll be able to identify them by their walkie talkies (not kidding). There are no convenient bathrooms nearby. We recommend that you Uber/Lyft to the ceremony location, because parking can be tough. Address to provide for Uber/Lyft: 3601 Lyon St, San Francisco, CA 94123.
We will be providing Lyft Event Pass Credit for transportation between the Palace and Webster Hall. The code will be provided closer to the wedding day. Note: you will be responsible to request your Lyft ride.
The reception will be held at Webster Hall, an old health sciences library. It will be a closed/private event for our wedding. We’ll have dinner and then dance into the night!
Cocktail lounge meets intimate family dinner meets all-night dance party. Come hungry! There will be gluten and dairy free options available.
At the reception, we will be serving beer, wine, cocktails and also have sodas, water and juices for non-alcoholic beverages. And, of course, we will have coffee with dessert.
So glad you asked! Yes, we’ll have a QR Code at the ceremony and reception for easy scanning. You can also check it out at this link: https://my.guestpix.com/Guest/Login/21335 PIN: 7810
Both locations are storied, fancy, perfect examples of SF architecture and seem to exist in a permanent golden hour glow. Webster Hall used to be a health sciences library and still smells like books. The Palace is the site of many of our walk ‘n’ talks and picnics. We hope that you fall in love with these places as much as we have!
If you’re feeling sick with COVID19 symptoms, we ask that you test before coming to the wedding to be mindful of other guests and keep us all as safe as possible. Thank you!
It’s warm in September/October, but Karla the Fog can roll in at any time. The average high is 71° F, the average low is 56° F. Pack layers and consider bringing a light jacket or wrap to the ceremony. The average time for sunset in SF in September is 7pm. You can expect it to be around 65°/70° F at the ceremony.
Both the ceremony, reception, and the hotel blocks are in historically safe neighborhoods. It’s a city. Be smart, don’t leave anything in your car or out in public, and look both ways before you cross the bike lane. You’ll do great!
Check out the 'TRAVEL' section for our recommendations!
Uber and Lyft are the most convenient ways to get around the city. Public transportation through the SFMTA tends to run late, but Taylor has a soft spot for the Muni. It’s not recommended to take public transportation late at night — instead, call an Uber/Lyft.
