We're getting married

Cody and I met at the beginning of 2024. As most of you know Cody and I share a passion: Poultry. I work for Amick Farms as a Service Representative and he grows poultry for Amick Farms. On February 20th, 2024 a day that I will never forget and a day that I would have never thought that I would be meeting the love of my life. As a Service Rep, we have to attend training and growers also have to attend that same training. That night I sat between one of my buddies and Cody. Cody kept trying to make conversation, but shy me was not having it. As usual, I just nodded my head, gave him a smile and continued to ignore him and talk to my buddy. Even though deep down, I wanted to know more about him. I noticed he kept trying to look my way, trying to make small talk with me, and copy my answers on the test (go figure, lol). During the small talk we exchanged what we did for a living and why we were there at that training in the first place. No exchanging names (that part is important) or anything beyond why we were there. As a believer of Jesus Christ, I always promised myself that I know it's my person when he pursues me. After leaving the training that night, I left wondering what his name was and wanted to know more of his story. But I didn't think about it anymore. The next day I got a random friend request on Facebook: Cody Clary. Not knowing that name, I clicked on the profile to see if I knew him. Automatically, thoughts start racing through my head "omg, that's the boy from last night!" "Wait, how did he find me?" "I never gave him my name". I accepted the friend request and next thing I know I'm getting a message from him and he didn't waste any time. After a few messages back and forth about how we are both doing, he asked if I'd like to go out on a date with him so he could get to know me more. Of course I told my mom about this guy I met in a chicken class and he is now asking me on a date. I was hesitant at first, but my mom reassured me that it doesn't hurt to just go out as friends and see where it leads. Fast forward, we are on the date. I finally asked him how he found out what my name was. He said that night he got home and couldn't quit thinking about me. He remembered me telling him that I was a Service Representative for Amick Farms and it dawned on him that each grower gets a list of all the Service Reps names. This man took it upon himself to go into his poultry houses, scan the list of names, find my name, and look me up. At that moment I realized that this man is pursuing me and no one has ever done that before. This man is "the one". Since that day forward, we have been by each other's side, inseparable.
