You can click the RSVP link (above) and it will notify us right away!

Question

Is there a dress code for the events?

Answer

WELCOME PARTY: SOMETHING BLUE BEFORE WE DO From dark navy to powder blue, we’d love to celebrate surrounded by our favorite people - and MJ’s favorite color. CEREMONY & RECEPTION: BLACK TIE, NEW ORLEANS STYLE Taylie’s favorite color and the inspiration of the timeless elegance of New Orleans, we ask that our guests wear black to celebrate music, love and the start of our next chapter. HOT TIP: SECOND LINE PARADE Bring a change of shoes to take a stroll in after our reception, as we will end the celebrations with a favorite New Orleans tradition: a second line!

Question

What is a Second Line?

Answer

A wedding second line is a vibrant New Orleans tradition where a brass band leads the newlyweds and guests in a celebratory street parade, symbolizing a new beginning with lively music, dancing, and props like decorated umbrellas and handkerchiefs. The "first line" includes the band and the couple, while the "second line" are the guests who follow, dancing and adding to the festive atmosphere, often clapping or using improvised instruments.

Question

Are my kids invited?

Answer

We love all of your children, but due to space and limited guest count, we request no children at our ceremony and reception unless stated on your invitation.
