Out of respect for the moment and our wishes, we kindly ask that you refrain from using phones, cameras, or other devices during the ceremony. Our professional photographer will capture every detail. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you would like and don't forget to share them with us — we look forward to sharing those moments with you.
We recommend arriving in Paris a few days prior to the wedding to adjust to the time zone and enjoy the city at your leisure. From Paris, guests may either take a domestic flight or the high-speed train to Bordeaux. The train offers a smooth and scenic journey through the French countryside. Alternatively, guests who prefer to fly directly may arrive at the Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport, located approximately one hour from the château. We kindly request that guests arrange private transportation or hire a car service for the weekend; however, we will be providing 1 shuttle for arrivals and departures to and from the chateau. We will have the shuttle pick you up at the back of the Bordeaux train station on Friday 5/22 at 1500hr. *Please note this is a little over an hour ride to the Château, so please plan accordingly.
Our wedding planners have passed along a reputable car service. You can book directly though them via website. https://www.albtaxi-vtc.fr
Friday's gathering will be a Garden Party. Ladies, we encourage florals and color! Gentlemen, we know your wives will dress you according to their outfits. But if not, think linen, light blues, and neutral colors. Lets keep it fresh! Kindly bring a swimsuit should you wish to join us for the poolside celebration on Sunday. We will be doing a Pizza Party to follow so comfy clothes encouraged! *Please note with garden party, I understand there will be dresses with white backgrounds and florals. That is totally okay, as long as the florals are vibrant and take over most of the white!
In order to allow all guests, including parents, a weekend of relaxation and celebration, we respectfully request no children at the wedding.
Yes! The drinks are on us all weekend. Please drink responsibly.

Yes, you can leave at any time. There is a town nearby that you will drive through on the way to the château that has everything from a pharmacy to McDonalds! There are also several wineries nearby. Please be sure to arrive back in time for the ceremony if you would like to venture out that day.
