It was our first morning in Maine celebrating Kai’s 30th birthday. We had an early rise to our day due to the excitement of exploring a state we were both visiting for our first time. The place we stayed was this beautiful red cozy cabin that was tucked away on a cove called Hunter’s Lake, which is apart of a Rangeley Lake. The cabin had a long picturesque floating dock on the lake. The sun was already up and the lake had a layer of fog over it. Tayler got up immediately, took her film camera with her and ran to capture the moment. Little did she know it was about to become a memory of a life time for her and Kai. She walked out to the dock and was checking the water for any signs of fish. She looked behind her to see Kai coming out to join and got excited. She also saw their friend Joe who came along for the trip who was also outside but staying further back taking pictures. At first she wasn’t sure why he was taking pictures from up top but then disregarded since everything was picture worthy. Kai made it to the main part of the dock and just let Tayler do her thing. Once she had her fill, she turned around to find Kai on his knee asking the big question. The world paused for a moment. And the story begins… The photo below was taking on Tayler’s film camera at 6am moments before the proposal.
