Maritime Museum

Great for kids! A floating museum! Tour historic ships from square rig to schooners to steam tugs while learning about SF's maritime history.

Dutch Windmill

Windmills! 1/2 block from the sands of Ocean Beach, the Twin Windmills (Dutch and Murphy) anchor the Western corners of Golden Gate Park with sails that are said to be some of the largest of any windmill in the world. A great stop on the way to the beach. The Dutch Windmill has the added benefit of an extensive tulip garden at its base.

Grandview Park

Great for kids! Beautiful park with (lots of) tiled steps. Steep climb but worth it for the view!

Stow Lake Bridge

Great for kids! Stow lake has everything. Multiple waterfalls, an island in the middle of a lake, historic footbridges, ducks, paddleboats, rowboats and even a Chinese pavilion. Lots of ways to enjoy this area, on land or water.

Corona Heights Park
