Do I have to get items tailored?

Answer

Traditional Indian clothing requires tailoring for a perfect fit. Women - typically need cholis (saree blouse) stitched to their custom measurements. Tailors can typically get this done in a couple days. Men - men’s tailoring takes significantly less time than women’s, and usually only requires sleeve/pant length hemmed. Indian tailoring is VERY affordable compared to the US. The cost is typically a fraction of what your outfit cost.

Do I have to arrive early or stay later than the wedding?

Answer

Everyone is open to arrive and depart as available! We only recommend arriving by December 17-21, for guests to adjust to the time change and complete all wedding outfit shopping AND tailoring before the wedding events!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

The more the merrier! Please just include the number of attendees on the RSVP, so we're able to coordinate logistics.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will take place outdoors -- don't worry, we do have backup options, incase of inclement weather! Bangalore weather temperature ranges between 60-80 Fahrenheit during mid-December.

What type of food and drink will be served during the event?

Traditional South Indian vegetarian & Indo-Chinese food.
