2020 was a year of canceled events, social isolation, and overall uncertainty. Canceling the wedding we had planned at Red Butte Gardens was an unexpected hardship in the year that we thought would be a blissful new beginning. After much consideration, we decided we wanted to elope. Promising each other a lifetime of love as we moved into the next chapter of our adventure.

We eloped at Blue Sky Ranch in Wanship, Utah. The green, springtime mountains surrounding the resort were our backdrop as we said "I Do". It was the resort's opening weekend and we were one of three guests staying, making it a delightful private experience. We swam, hiked, ate the most amazing food, and drank champagne from the comfort of our room as we listened to the rain. Moments like this are something we could never have planned.

While we wished we could have stayed longer than a weekend, we left refreshed and ready to take on our next adventure. Which started with driving over 2,000 miles to Brooklyn with a cat who hates being in the car. We are now settled and Andrew is attending Pratt Institute for his Masters of Architecture. I am working for an advertising agency and Roo has developed the sass of a city cat. We wish we could have spent our special day with you: our friends and family. It's hard not to feel like we missed out on the joy of having loved ones present, but know that you were with us in spirit.
