Early January 2022, we met on the second day of college during an open period. We decided to go watch a movie in theaters that evening (Scream 5)! While it was a slightly awkward first date- we each had enough fun to agree to a second date two days later at the bowling alley. After we had our fun of bowling two rounds, we left the bowling alley and said, "what the heck, lets go to the arcade!" Off to 81 Arcade we went for our third date! We played lots of pinball and had a pacman battle, among playing many other games. Later that evening we shared our first kiss and parted ways! The following 3 weeks we hung out as often as we could, started "officially" dating 01/25/2022, and the rest is history!

In May of 2024, we purchased our very first home in Sioux Falls! After getting settled in, we debated on getting a third dog. November of '24, we settled on the decision to start fostering through Almost Home Canine Rescue (AHCR) based in Sioux Falls and Madison, SD! AHCR is a volunteer based program to rescue animals from the Cheyenne Reservation in NW South Dakota, they rely on donations so that they can afford transport, vet care, food, toys, and other necessities for these animals. We have found fostering to be a very humbling and rewarding process. Fostering has become very important to us, which is why we feel the need to use our wedding platform to spread the word.
