Flight
Athens only has one airport. The airport is anywhere from 30-60min ride to/from the City Center depending on traffic. Alternatively, if you would like to stay on the Athens Riviera near the sea, you can expect a 30-50min ride from the airport.

Uber is readily available and will call you a Taxi via the App. All hotels will also call Taxis/Transfers for you during your stay if needed. There is an abundance of public transportation via Train and Metro Subway that can connect from the airport to all areas of Athens.

What do you prefer for your stay, city or beach? If you have never been to Athens, Leo and Tay recommend the City Center near Syntagma Square (especially if you are planning on visiting a Greek Island before or after our wedding because an island is the ultimate greek beach experience). The center has amazing history, food, and nightlife. If you want a more low-key relaxing vibe, book by the sea in cities like Voula, Voulagmeni, or Glyfada. Great beach bars and restaurants around these area too.

PLEASE NOTE: If the pricing or accommodations do not match your expectations, feel free to do your own search around at a nearby hotel/airbnb! There is an ABUNDANCE of hotels/bnbs in Athens at all different price ranges--find what works for you in geographical relation to the recommended hotels. Syntagma Square or Glyfada/Voula are the places we encourage guests to stay.
