In 2017 Taylar moved to Oregon for change. She had no idea when she moved there she would meet her soulmate. Taylar and Curtis met on Tinder (who knew it ever worked). Their first date was wings and beers at JD’s. They hit it off instantly and while talking realized their many similarities and mutual friends. From that point they were inseparable. Taylar, Curtis, and their two dogs loaded up and took the scenic route across the country to St. Louis. There, they settled in near Taylar’s family while Taylar showed Curtis around her city. Their hearts were still in Oregon, though, and in October 2018 they packed all their belongings once again and headed west. On March 2, 2019, Taylar and Curtis went to see MarchFourth Marching Band at the Rogue Theater with Michele, Taylar’s mom. Curtis had a surprise planned, though. The band lured Taylar on stage by announcing her as a “T-Shirt winner.” After receiving her prize, Taylar was tapped on the shoulder and turned around to see Curtis on one knee with a ring. The rest is history. They describe their relationship as if they had known each other their whole lives - a love that was truly written in the stars. -in the words of Jessica Chapman
