On the Bride's Side
Martha Boksenbaum and Jo Knapp
The bride will be joined by Martha Boksenbaum (she/her, Left) and Jo Knapp (they/them, right). Martha and Tayla first met through Cranston Public Library, where they both work. They've since bonded over their love of graphic novels, the joyful chaos of toddler storytime, and a good backyard fire pit. Jo and Tayla met while they were both studying to become librarians at URI, where they were both part of the Student American Library Association. They and 3 other librarians get together once a month to play Dungeons and Dragons and laugh together when Jo's dice try to get the party killed.
On the Groom's Side
Kevin Franzino and Matt Okrentowich
The groom will be joined by Kevin Franzino (he/him, right) and Matt (Matty) Okrentowich (he/him, middle). David met Matty and Kevin in high school where they got into many teenage shenanigans together, only some of which caused minor property damage. They kept in touch after graduation, and with the invention of cellphones and texting have been able to keep their friendship going even after living in different states. They now keep most of their chaos to their weekly video gaming sessions.
Tommy Cardillo
Flower Guy
Joining the festivities to warm up the crowd is Tayla's cousin Tommy as Flower Guy. Tommy is currently a senior at Coventry High school and will graduate May 2025. He loves video games and computer programming. Tayla has many fond memories of spending summers with Tommy at their Nana's house and both Tayla and David are thrilled to have him be a part of their special day.
Cara Conklin
Officiant
Cara and David met when he was working for East Coast Food Distribution in Milton, CT. Since leaving that job, Cara and David have stayed in touch. Once Tayla met Cara they became fast friends, and Tayla frequently butts in on their phone conversations when David has her on speaker phone. Since Tayla and David have moved into together Cara has been asking them "Are you engaged yet?" so they could think of no better person to help them make it official.
