Our Story
We met in high school through mutual friends during a wild night in Tacoma—where Caiden lied about his whereabouts, Tayla fibbed about who was driving, and our friend’s car got stolen. Not your typical meet-cute, but definitely memorable.
Our first date was sweetly awkward—we took the wrong exit on the way to the mall, laughed off the nerves, and just enjoyed being together.
Since then, we’ve grown from our first apartment to our first home, sharing life with two very demanding cats, Noble and Daisy Mae.
Caiden planned a romantic picnic with sushi, paint, and friends. Earlier that day, he casually suggested checking out Kay Jewelers “sometime,” making Tayla think the proposal wasn’t happening—until she turned and saw him down on one knee. She said yes—and only then spotted his terrifying painting, which made her laugh all over again.
