WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Josh and Taylor met at church where they are both drummers for the worship team. Taylor had been attending this church since she was a child in 2001; Josh arrived after college in 2018. After Josh joined, his family would hint at him about trying to meet Taylor. Taylor’s family would also hint at her about Josh. They both…were already very interested! The hints definitely worked! Taylor and Josh officially went on a first date on the 4th of July, 2019. A beautiful summer walk in Philadelphia’s Dilworth Park followed by lunch in a cute, quiet Mediterranean restaurant was the perfect setup for getting to know each other. In a single day, they discovered the countless things they had in common. When the day was over, they both knew that "date number two" was in the near future. The next "date" came sooner than they both thought! A few days later, Josh was in the area of Taylor's job and decided to come in and say hello. Taylor happened to be going on break at the time (or she made herself take a break at the time *wink*) so they were able spend a bit of time together. They jokingly named this their "first-and-a-half date". They had the time of their lives laughing, air-drumming to "throwback" gospel songs, and constantly rewinding the impressive drum chops. They were shocked at how comfortable they were around each other. It felt natural. Only a few days later on July 11, 2019, they went on a full-planned date (appropriately named their "2nd-and-a-half date") to see Toy Story 4 in theaters. To no surprise, they had a wonderful time in each other's company. Although it had only been a week, they felt very connected and had strong feelings for each other. It didn't take long for them to both recognize they've found their perfect, God-crafted match.
