1983 We met in elementary school and went to middle school together. Been friends on Facebook for years and one day he commented on a post I made, when I was modeling, and the rest as they say is history. It's been craziness and laughter ever since!

It's a funny story (but if you ask him, he won't think so) We went to Tennessee for the weekend to celebrate the Gemini birthdays and had thee best time with my family! We went on the roller coaster through the mountains (you saw the pics on Facebook), the cabin was amazing, and the family was hilarious as always! On the way home we talked about how much fun we had! The next day, I worked from home and he was out (unbeknownst to me) picking up the ring from Jared, went to my mom, uncle/dad Michael, and nephew Jalen asked them if he could have my hand in marriage! Called his kids, his sister, my auntie, my brother John, and my uncle Eric and told them what he was about to do....He walks in the door with the Jared bag, clothes from the cleaners, and groceries (yes I'm spoiled because he does all the grocery shopping and takes everything to the cleaners) I didn't see the Jared bag. He puts the groceries up and goes into the office, from his phone told Alexa to play "I do need you" by BBD. Meanwhile, I am on the couch in my pj's after working all day. I didn't understand why Alexa was playing music so I say "Alexa, shut up!" The song comes on for a second time, me again "Alexa, shut up!!" The song comes on again for the third time as I go to say "Alexa!" He comes out the room in a full suit and tie! I'm like WTH! He does the temptation spin and gets down on one knee and says how much fun he had with my family, how he wants to do this for the rest of our life, and pulls out the ring! I snatch the box out his hand, put the ring on, and sit in silence and cried on the couch for the next hour LOL! He is BIG mad now! He goes in the bedroom and calls my mom like what is wrong with her! I finally come in the bedroom call my mom and then I said YES! If you know us, this is basically the story of our relationship I don't do well with surprises and he tries so hard to surprise me LOL!
