FAQs

Question

When is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on July 30th, 2026. Please check the “Schedule” page for the full timeline of the day.

Question

Where is the venue located and is it indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The venue is located in Santa Barbara and features both indoor and outdoor spaces and it does not have any grass areas.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, State Street has several areas to park. The venue itself does not provide parking, but there are parking structures off of Anacapa and Chapala Street.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us. Our wedding will be an elegant garden style celebration, and we’d love for our guests to dress in garden party formal attire. For Women: Midi or maxi dresses in soft fabrics like chiffon, satin, or silk are perfect. Florals, pastels, jewel tones, and classic neutrals are all welcome. Heels, dressy flats, or sandals are fine — the ceremony and reception will be on solid, flat ground (no grass!). For Men: Light suits or slacks with a dress shirt and blazer are great options. Ties are optional but encouraged. Dress shoes or loafers will work well for the venue.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RVSP by June 10th, 2026 on this website. This will help us finalize all of the details and ensure everyone has an amazing experience on our special day. We won’t be able to accommodate guests who don’t RSVP by this date — thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones; however, we respectfully request that this be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity and budget, we are only accommodating those who are formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be addressed in your invitation and RSVP section of the website.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We won’t be reserving hotel blocks, as the majority of our guests live locally and those traveling from out of town have family nearby within an hour or two. If you do prefer to stay overnight in Santa Barbara, there are plenty of wonderful hotels and vacation rentals available. See the "Hotel Recommendations" tab.

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to capture moments, but please keep your phone on silent and do not record during the ceremony. We want to keep the space peaceful and distraction-free! There will be opportunities for photos during the reception. Our photographer, Alexis Hamey, will also be capturing the ceremony beautifully, so you can stay present and enjoy the moment with us!
