Taylor & Stephan met at UConn thanks to mutual friends. Taylor’s roommate and sorority sister, Libby, knew Stephan’s roommate and fraternity brother, Nick, from high school, which led to a pregame at the boys’ house before a party. Nick, now one of the groomsmen, unknowingly set the whole thing in motion. March Madness 2014 is where it all clicked. There was one weekend Taylor basically didn’t leave Stephan’s house. Between UConn wins & homemade aiolis for grilled cheese, she was very happily fed & completely sold. After graduation, they moved to Queens and built their first home together. Their cat, Obi, joined the team and officially made them a family. Their story took time, like most good ones do. They grew up. They learned. There & back again, they kept choosing each other and grew into best friends. Back in Connecticut, their dog Ginger filled their lives with love and long hikes. After they lost her, the house was a little too quiet. Then their pup Luke arrived and brought light and chaos back in the best way. Taylor & Stephan love hiking, skiing, rock climbing, live music, UConn basketball, & hosting dinners where friends somehow always stay longer than they planned. Stephan cooks. Taylor sets the table and makes the drinks. Steph's guac has a loyal following. On the morning of September 2, 2025, at Monument Cove in Acadia National Park, Stephan proposed and asked Taylor to marry him. Now they’re gathering their favorite people in the Shire of Connecticut to celebrate the next chapter. The best is still ahead, and they’re so glad you’re part of it.
