What is the venue like?

Answer

The event is at the Waipa Community foundation. It will be outside in the grass near the cluster of buildings. The reception will be under a big white tent. For over 20 years, Waipā Foundation has stewarded the 1,600 acre ahupua’a of Waipā, under a lease from the landowner, Kamehameha Schools. Located along Hanalei Bay, Waipā is one of the nine ahupua`a in Kauai’s Halele`a district. Is there a dress code?

Casual. Aloha shirts welcome. The event will be outside on the grass.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of free parking on the lawn at the wedding venue.

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We can help you find a babysitter for the night - Text Sadie (808) 652-0825 for more info.
