Our Story

Being a part of a not-so-small small group, Noah and Taylor attended microchurch week after week never crossing paths. However, on October 31st of 2023, Noah just so happened to sit down next to Taylor to chat to a mutual friend across the table while at microchurch. At the time, both were on night shift and a comment about such sparked a conversation between Noah and Taylor. After what they had learned was a 45 minute conversation, they realized this mutual friend left long ago and had them both laughing at how easily and quickly the time had passed. Noah and Taylor had said their goodbyes that night feeling like they had really hit off, and Noah was absolutely set on trying to talk to Taylor again, eventually wanting to ask her out. They continued chatting here and there whenever they saw each other on Tuesdays, one often attending when the other wasn’t. These “missed opportunities”—as Noah defined them— led to Noah yelling “Bye Taylor” across an entire parking lot one night. He quickly become known as “the guy who yelled across the parking lot” amongst her friends as Taylor slowly realized some feelings she might have. While Taylor was being quite oblivious to all the moves Noah was trying to pull each Tuesday night, Noah was continually pursuing her and finding a way to get her number. He finally got the chance when Taylor had mentioned possibly needing a ride home for Thanksgiving after a night shift and Noah of course offered. Noah won the number, but lost the chauffeur opportunity when her Dad decided to drive up instead (sorry!). As Tuesday nights were coming to a close in December of 2023, Noah thought he had only one more chance to ask Taylor out. Though, when the night got too busy, they left without getting a chance to talk. While Noah was busy after group with friends, Taylor reached out wishing they had the chance to say hi. Noah took the opportunity and asked Taylor out, explaining his heart, his intentions, and how he felt about her and she of course said “yes”. Noah being himself planned the entire first date only telling Taylor “I’ll pick you up at 6” and she could not wait. They spent an entire night together talking for hours and driving around to look at Christmas lights and stargazing. It was only after the first date had been going well that Noah told Taylor of his Nova Scotia Retriever puppy, Tucker… and it sealed the deal. The Christmas theme continued when Taylor asked Noah if he was crazy enough to go for a second date all the way to St. Augustine to look at the Nights of Lights. Sure enough he said yes and they spent the night again talking and looking at Christmas lights. Except this night ended with Noah asking Taylor on the bridge of lions if she would continue to see where this goes and officially be his girlfriend. The rest is history and the two have gone on adventure after adventure seeking God and falling more and more in love. From the moment they started dating, both have said it feels like we’ve already been together a lifetime.

For all the days along the way
