Legend has it Taylor asked Michael for his number at their favorite college bar in December 2013. Regardless of her intentions that evening, their attraction and unconditional love was inevitable.

Michael is known to express his gratitude and love with grand gestures. On February 29th, 2020, Michael invited Taylor to join him at the Music Box Theatre to premiere a film chronicling their love through cherished memories and testimonials. As the credits rolled, Michael got on one knee and asked Taylor to "Please marry him". It was the best day of their lives.
