We met working at Santa Fe Opera but it was watching sports that bonded us. Our friendship grew as we watched Dodger baseball and the Kings win the Stanley Cup. We share a love of travel, nature and enjoying life to the fullest. At the end of the summer, we drove back to LA together and the rest, as they say, is history.

On Tuesday, May 30, 2017 Taylor asked Melissa to marry him under a tree, as the sun set over Yosemite falls, in the meadow where his parents got married. The location, the ring, and most importantly the love are all perfect. Tay's mom asked Mel to dress up for drinks and pix at the Awahnee where they got married. Little did she know they'd be celebrating their engagement!
