The love story of Taylor and Dom begins back when they were in high school. Lauren and Adam (Taylor and Dom’s best friends) knew they would make a perfect couple and had been doing their very best to get Dom and Taylor to meet and go out for quite a while, but they were both being stubborn and just wouldn’t commit to a date. One day after graduation Lauren and Taylor were driving around playing their favorite game they liked to call, “let’s waste gas”. They would drive the back road of Loomis drinking Rebels from Dutch Bros and singing country music. Yes, life was simple then… While they were driving around, Taylor got a text from Dom. After spending ten minutes trying to formulate a reply, Lauren reached over and pushed send before Taylor could stop her. Taylor freaked out but, the ice was finally broken. Just like that, they were texting nonstop. Texting led to Dom and Taylor hanging out and talking for hours and they scheduled their official first date. On September 2nd, 2016, Dom, Taylor, Lauren, and Adam all went to a Rivercat’s game. Sparks flew. After the game they stayed in the car, and chatted for hours. At midnight, Dom asked Taylor to be his girlfriend. And the rest, as they say, is history.
