It Was Always You

Bobby and I met while I was working at the Chipotle in our home town. While I was young and shy, especially when he came in, Bobby was always outgoing and so sweet. I remember talking to my mom about somehow working up the courage to speak with this amazing man that had been coming into my work practically every single day. Of course that was so much easier said than done when this tall, dark and handsome guy stands in front of me with his bright blue eyes and all of his confidence and then everything just went right out of the window. Luckily for me, I didn't have to make the first move because Bobby finally did. He gave me his number, I got to know him, he drove me a little crazy, but after a few attempts (lol) we decided that we kind of like each other, and the rest is history!

On one of our last days there, we were paddling out on our surfboards to watch the sunset. Bobby and I had planned to bring the GoPro to get some footage of us out on the water. We have a very playful relationship. One where Bobby thinks its hilarious to get down on one knee in front of me just to tie his shoe. So little did I know that he was bringing the GoPro to record his proposal. I didn't believe him at first, thinking it was just another HA HA moment of his, but not this time. I looked down at the ring and he told me to wave to our friends on the beach who were taking photos. I was so excited and celebrating like crazy, Bobby had to remind me that I hadn't even said yes yet!

We would just like to thank everyone (& also apologize) for your patience and understanding during the run-around that COVID put us through three years ago when we were planning our wedding. When we rescheduled and then finally cancelled our wedding due to the pandemic, Bobby & I still wanted to get married! So we wound up sneaking down to a beach near our home and we sealed the deal at sunset on April 11, 2020. But in the end, we were missing so many of our closest family and friends so we decided that we would love to celebrate and share everything that we had originally planned with all of you! So here we are, for take two!
