Mukilteo Ferry Info

Getting to Whidbey Island options: driving over Deception Pass, or taking the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry. If you are coming up Saturday morning over the ferry, plan extra time to wait in the ferry line. It can get backed up - sometimes up to a 2-hour wait. It is a 25 min ferry ride, and another 20 min once you are on the other side. The last ferry time you can catch to not be late would be the 4PM ferry. Give yourself plenty of time if you're planning to take it. Just a heads up: don’t try to cut the ferry line, they’re strict about it, & you’ll probably get sent to the back (people tell the attendant when they get up to the front if you cut). Not worth it! If you'd rather not worry about waiting in the ferry line & possibly cutting it close, you could come early Saturday morning to explore the beautiful island or make a weekend trip out of it (book your stay asap since they are limited & getting booked up)!
