WE’RE GETTING MARRIED

While they both went to the same middle and high school, Jay and Taylor's lives didn't intertwine until college. Jay started college at UW-Madison in 2014. During that year Taylor went to visit her friends also attending UW-Madison. Through mutual friends Jay and Taylor met during that trip. Over the next five years Jay and Taylor would sporadically spend time together when their mutual friends overlapped and somehow always spotted each other at the yearly Mifflin St Block Party. In the fall of 2019 Taylor, Jay and their respective roommates began spending more and more time together at school. With their mutual friend group they would go out to the bars, watch Badger games, and played lots of games. During this time they developed a friendship that would last a lifetime. One night, while out at the bars, Jay offered to dance with Taylor as a cover to avoid unwanted advances. While Jay and Taylor had spent many nights dancing their butts off in bars with their friends, this night felt different. A few songs passed and soon Taylor looked over and kissed Jay. This kiss sparked the beginning of their love story. Since this beginning, Jay and Taylor have together moved across states, adopted three cats (and grieved losing one), became an uncle and aunt, bought a house, and created a beautiful life. Jay and Taylor are so excited to get married. They know how special their relationship is and will continue to put in the work to commit, cherish and grow together for the rest of their lives. The wedding and reception will be a perfect celebration of the love that they share for each other and the people who surround and support them. Thank you for being one of those people.
