The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen can wear suits or sport coats with dress pants.

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

We are unable to accommodate additional guests due to venue capacity and budget. Thank you for your understanding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive by 5:00 pm to get settled before our ceremony starts at 5:30 pm. Latecomers will have to wait until the ceremony wraps up before joining the celebration - and you definitely don't want to miss a second!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Free parking is available onsite at Elmwood Park Zoo for all wedding guests. If you plan to leave your car overnight and use an Uber, no worries - you can pick up your car the next day.

What happens if it rains?

Our ceremony will move indoors to the Zoo’s welcome center.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

We're still ironing out the details, but rest assured, there'll be a shuttle rolling between the hotel and the zoo. So, whether you're ready to party or ready to crash, we've got your ride covered. Stay tuned for the details.
