Immediately following the wedding, grab a drink and a handkerchief, and be ready to be paraded through the streets of the French Quarter. For those of you who have never experienced a second line, a second line is a celebratory street parade led by a brass band and grand marshal. The bride & groom and the band make up the “first line” while friends and family follow behind dancing, waving handkerchiefs and celebrating together.
