Like many modern romances, Sarah and Spencer’s love story began with a simple right swipe. After their fateful match, they planned for Spencer to pick Sarah up after class for a lunch date at Chicken Salad Chick. Lunch turned into Chick-fil-A Icedreams by Herty Fountain, afternoon classes were skipped, and the rest was history. Just one week later, on October 24, 2019, Spencer asked Sarah to be his girlfriend. From that day forward, the two have been inseparable. Although Spencer graduated in 2020, they remained devoted to one another through Sarah’s years at the University of Georgia. After her graduation, Sarah joined Spencer in his apartment near The Battery, where they discovered the joys of creating a home together. In the fall of 2024, they embarked on a dream trip to Europe. While surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Swiss Alps, Spencer proposed atop Mt. Rigi on September 19. A few months later, they moved into their first home and began filling it with love, laughter, and the company of their beloved cats, Yogi and Bananas. After six wonderful years together, Sarah and Spencer are overjoyed to begin this new chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by the family and friends who have been part of their journey.
