How can we assist in planning and preparation?

Answer

We feel supported in our planning and preparation needs! We may recruit guests day of for helping set up between ceremony and dinner, but there's nothing we need in advance.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want to see you as your most authentic selves! Feel free to dress up or dress down in whatever ways feel comfortable. This will be an outdoors lakeside wedding going from afternoon to evening, located on the shore of lake Champlain. We recommend bringing a light outer layer.

What food options will be available?

Answer

Our dinner will be catered by Harmony's Kitchen Vermont. Buffet/Family style, vegan options available! If you have additional dietary requirements or questions, please reach out to us at the emails at the top of the page.

What should we bring?

Answer

Yourselves and your good energy! If you have young children, it's probably a good idea to bring snacks for the late afternoon, as it will be a few hours before there are snacks available.

How do we get there?

Answer

For our Canadian friends: this wedding is in Vermont, don't forget your passport! The nearest airport is BTV (Burlington, VT). Vermont is a rural place with extremely minimal public transit and no taxis or Ubers outside of Burlington center. Our wedding will take place at private home on the lake at 175 Hills Point Rd. in Charlotte, VT. For drivers there is some driveway and street parking available, as well as a public lot a 5 min walk from the venue. What if it rains?

Answer

Plan to be outside rain or shine -- we won't melt! If there is inclement weather, we will adjust accordingly.
