Things To Do

Welcome to Detroit! If you're an out-of-towner spending the weekend here, be sure to check out a few of our favorite places.

Our Detroit Restaurant Favorites

We highly recommend grabbing a bite at one of our favorite spots in Detroit! Grey Ghost, San Morello, or Leila if you are looking for something swanky. Looking for something more casual? Grab a coney at Lafayette, sliders at Green Dot Stables, or food truck-style at Detroit Shipping Co. Our favorite breakfast spots are Avalon, Cannelle, and Hudson Cafe.

Our Favorite Detroit Cocktail Bars

There are so many great options for a craft cocktail in Detroit. We recommend Two James Distillery, Monarch Club, Standby, the Candy Bar, and Kamper's Rooftop Bar (in the Book Tower).

Campus Martius Park

800 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48226

Stroll around Campus Martius for festive activities including the outdoor ice rink, Christmas pop ups, and lit up Christmas tree.

Eastern Market

Detroit, MI

There's lots to see and do around Eastern Market, even if you won't be there for the market Saturday. A few of our favorites are Supino Pizza, Eastern Market Brewing Company, and Detroit City Distillery. You can also get everything you need for a cheese board at DeVries and Co.

Michigan Central Station

2001 15th Street, Detroit, MI 48216

Check out Detroit's recently restored historic train station - now owned by Ford.

Activities Around Metro-Detroit

If you some extra time to explore, check out the Detroit Institute of Arts (right downtown). Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum are located in Dearborn about 20 minutes away.
