Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
We ask that our guests wear cocktail attire to the welcome party and beach formal for the wedding. Please see the schedule tab for more details on both events and examples for attire.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We absolutely love your children, but we ask that this is an adult-only event.
Question
Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
The venue allows parking for 28 cars. These spots are available first come, first serve. If the lot fills up, we encourage guests to park at the Asheville street public parking lot, located three houses away, or other nearby lots. All cars must be moved by 12am if parking in the public lots. We also encourage guests to walk or uber.

Can I bring a date?

Each invitation specifies the guests invited to our event, please bring only those listed on your invitation.

Should I prepare for indoor or outdoor weather?
Answer
The ceremony will be held outside in the lawn under a tent, allowing for full shade. Cocktail hour will be indoors and on a covered patio, followed by an outdoors, covered reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. Please arrive by 3:45pm to ensure you have plenty of time to find a seat and get comfortable.

Will there be assigned seating?
Answer
We want to encourage an environment that allows our guests to relax, socialize, and roam about the house as they wish, therefore, this will be an open seating event. There will be many tables, cocktail tables, and lounge chairs set up for guests to enjoy their meal or other company throughout the evening.

How will dinner be served? Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Dinner will consist of a variety of heavy hors d’oeuvres, set up at different stations around the venue. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available. There will be an open bar, serving beer, wine, and signature cocktails.

Are there activities to enjoy during the reception?
Answer
Other than dancing the night away, the house includes a small golfing green, an arcade room, and a pool table. We welcome guests to utilize these areas if desired.
